Engeyum Eppodhum

Fox Star Studios  marks its foray in to Tamil Cinema, joining hands with AR Murugadoss., with a breezy romantic film “Engeyum Eppodhum”.

The film has a very suggestive title, that denotes, that anybody is susceptible to anything, at anytime, especially, the magic, LOVE… The film revolves around a group of passengers travelling in two different buses, each having their own past & a reason for their travel. The most prominent among those is the love track between Kathiresan- manimegalai & the other one being Vinay(Gautham) & Amudha. Kathiresan is a very responsible young man, who works as a mechanic, stays in Chennai, to support his mother living in trichy. He has a heart for love, and he secretly loves his neighbor without her knowledge, watching every move of hers, admiring her, wearing the same color, as her clothes. One fine day, he sees her in his room and she claims to have noticed his every move. Kathiresan seems very elated, as she wishes to meet him in the evening over a cup of coffee. From then on kathiresan is forced to lie, spend, fight, & understand, all for their love. The evolution of their love forms the crux, of their story. They finally decide to get married and on their way to meet his parents.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Amudha is a very shy, timid girl, visiting Chennai to attend an interview. Her sister, who was supposed to pick her up, was unable to do so, as her father in law had to be admitted in the hospital urgently. Hence she seeks the help of a young happy go lucky urban guy Vinay. Her innocence, at first irks Vinay, but due to her compulsion, he helps her finish the interview & get back to her sister’s place. This day, changes their lives, as they discover their love for each other. After much thought & attempts, they board the bus to visit each other and the rest of it forms the climax.

As a fateful day might have it, a head on collision between these two buses occurs. The high moment is when one discovers the destiny & twists of the 2 pairs and the emotional tumult that this incident creates amidst the other passengers. Watch out for a heart wrenching climax.
